Korinn was a “Symphony Kid” with the Prince George’s County Philharmonic from age four through high school.
She played the violin and didn’t start singing or participating in plays until the 8th grade with the Cheverly Young Actors Guild.
She grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, where she attended French Immersion School, then Science and Technology at Eleanor Roosevelt, and later became a Maryland Terp.
She studied closely with Theatre Lab in DC, Signature Theatre’s Overtures, and Broadway Dreams Foundation in Philadelphia, New York and Toronto.
Korinn Walfall’s regional credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Guns & Powder (reading), and U.G.L.Y. (reading) at Signature Theatre; Caroline, or Change (Helen Hayes Nomination for Best Supporting Actress) at Round House Theatre; At the Wedding (u/s) at Studio Theatre and Hope Dies Last (reading) at Ford’s Theatre. Korinn appeared in the national tour of Amazing Grace. Korinn was a Creative and Performing Arts Scholar at the University of Maryland, College Park where she starred in plays and wrote contemporary feminist theatre. She was selected as one of the Dean’s Senior Scholars for 2015 before graduating with a BA in Theatre in 2016.
